THE DOT ON THE OT
A tribute in the style of the wonderful ‘Cat in the Hat’, the 'Dot on the Ot' teaches about the famous dots on the letters that occur in the Sefer Torah. It has been created by Mordechai Pinchas HaSofer (aka Marc Michaels), Sofer STa”M (scribe) for adults and children alike in loving memory of his wonderful nephew Nadav Ezra z"l. It is not intended for sale or profit.
Or, if you would prefer to watch and listen to Mordechai himself, accompanied by some friendly background music, you can go play the video by clicking below. (Ignore the link address at the end - things have moved on a bit!
"I completed 'The Dot on the Ot' on a very sad day which saw the untimely death of my very special nephew Nadav Ezra z"l and so I dedicated the work to him. Our hearts are broken forever, but if you enjoy this and learn some Torah please think about giving some ts'dakah (charity) in his memory."

FREE PURIM SHPIELS TO DOWNLOAD - A FIDDLIN' PURIM SPOOF AND MORDY POTTER
It as long been a tradition to re-tell the Purim story of Megillat Esther in a shpiel - a playlet. After a break for some food and celebration a bunch of gifted amateurs take to the stage and re-enact this special story. Often these are set to some iconic cultural reference point past, present and future.
I’ve been writing these for many years covering many themes and performing them with a variety of people. I've turned two of those into script books and they are available for you to download directly here. by clicking on the image or button. Whether you are planning your own elaborate production or a small rendition or just reading this for fun, I hope you enjoy them. If you do stage a Purim
shpiel
based on these, I'd love to see the photos. If you have any comments or spot any errors or typos, please let me know, so I can update for future
shpielers.

IN THE END
The Torah begins with the words 'In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth'. This short story completely reverses that and shows what happens when Man is instead in the driving seat.
Illustrated back in 1987 as part of my qualification in Graphic Design and Communications from Goldsmith, I thought I'd bring it back to life given the state of the world. The original author is apparently unknown but this version adapted by Rabbis Riemer and Blumberg. A short story with it's own little story of how it came to be.
